Leprosy Awareness programme was conducted in our TTI premises today morning (12.11.2019) for TTI and B.Ed students. The programme was started with prayer song and Bible reading which was followed by National Anthem. Mr.B.Nagarajan, Principal SCAD TTI welcomed the gathering. Dr.Asha M.B.B.S – D.D.VL, DDMS Tirunelveli addressed the gathering and talked about the way how the leprosy spread, its treatment and the ways to eradicate leprosy from the society. medical supervisors K.Ravichandran, DD Medical Services, A.Syed sulaiman – Govt PHC – Pattamadai, and S.Balasubramanian, District Health Educator, DDMS(L) were also participated in the awareness programme. Two students from TTI and B.Ed respectively gave the feedback about the programme. C.Selvi Jeya Ruby – Lect in Science, SCAD TTI Proposed the vote of thanks. All the staff and students who were participated in the programme were much benefitted. Finally the programme ended well with National Anthem.
