The SCAD Teacher Training Institute was founded in January 2006 by Dr.S.Cletus Babu, inspired by Dr.J.X.Amali Cletus Babu with the proper recognition of Central and State Governments.
It is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bangalore . Recognition No:F.SRO/NCTE/D.Ed/2005-2006/ 4585 dt 09.12.2005 & F.SRO/NCTE/D.TEd-AI/2006 – 2007/ 17856 dt 11.02.2008.
It is affiliated to the Directorate of Teacher Education Research and Training (DTERT), Chennai – 600 006. RC.No.1248/C1/2005 dt 30.12.2005 & L.Dis.No. 9049/C3/2009. dt 20.06.2009
